Beriah Sellers, and includes thinly veiled portraits of contemporary politicians whom Twain considered corrupt. This volume also includes THE AMERICAN CLAIMANT; TOM SAWYER ABROAD; TOM SAWYER, DETECTIVE; and a most un-Twain-like work, NO. 44, THE MYSTERIOUS STRANGER--which is about a psychic experience in medieval Austria.
